In the fourth image above, the cap on the left is the 66-Early 70 and on the right is the Late 70-76. The difference is the Late 70-76 cap has a longer reach into the filler neck. Make sure you order the correct one for your Bronco. Because many Broncos have been taken apart and put together with parts from various years it's better for you to look at your old cap to determine which version you need.

CHOOSE THE CORRECT CAP
Different year models have different sized fill necks and will not fit other models. Be sure to select the right cap using the photo above.In the fourth image above, the cap on the left is the 66-Early 70 and on the right is the Late 70-76. Q: What is the outside diameter of the cap?

A: It is approximately 2 5/8" in diameter.

Q: What Gas cap do you recommend for venting aftermarket EFI, i am currently running a FiTech but my switch to Sniper.

A: Usually, we will use a standard chrome, painted, or locking vented cap. Some systems still require additional venting even with a vented cap. We also have billet covers for the chrome caps, #'s 9775, 9777, 9779, or 9787.

A: Sorry, the manufacturer does not specify if the cap is vented or not. Only as replacement for the 71-76 Bronco, stock caps.
