This Disc/Disc Brake Proportioning Valve is essential for achieving balanced brake pressure in vehicles with front and rear disc brakes. Designed specifically for vehicles running disc brakes on both the front and rear, this combination valve ensures consistent and responsive braking without the need for a metering valve, which is unnecessary in disc/disc configurations.

Each valve includes mounting hardware and an electric plug to wire into your brake warning light system, which alerts you if there’s a pressure imbalance between front and rear circuits—a possible sign of a line, caliper, or wheel cylinder issue.

This valve will fit the factory-style mounting bracket as found on 1976-77 Ford Broncos. For a hassle-free install, pair it with our bleeder tool and fitting kit (sold separately) that includes adapters for use with common hard lines.

Pro Tip: When wiring the brake warning switch to the factory early Bronco brake warning light, you will notice the valve has a single wire and the light has two wires leading to it. Simply splice the two factory wires together with the new single wire from the valve and everything will work just as it should.
