At minimum, a Hi-Lift jack , recovery straps and shackles , and a portable air compressor for airing back up after the trail. A winch is essential for solo wheeling.

What size winch do I need for my Early Bronco?

A good rule of thumb is to choose a winch rated at 1.5–2x your vehicle's gross vehicle weight. For a stock Early Bronco around 3,900–4,900 lbs GVW, a 8,000–10,000 lb winch is appropriate. Browse our winch and towing gear selection from Warn, Smittybilt, and Mile Marker.
