Early 66 Drop Pitman Arm.
WILD HORSES can't leave well enough alone. After years of custom steering work and filing more pitman arm key ways than you can shake a stick at, we decided to develop our own fully indexed pitman arms. Most pitman arms can only be installed in one spot on the steering box sector shaft. Our pitman arm can be installed at 10 degree increments without modification which will help in centering your steering right to left. We recommend Drop Pitman Arms on Broncos with 3'' of lift or more. Why? Because they allow the drag link to operate at the angle they were designed for, saving wear and tear on the ball joints.
NOTE: You do not need a drop pitman arm with the F-100 steering box conversion. This was popular 20 years ago but there are still a lot of them out there.
Early 66's can be identified by casting #C6TZ-3590-H on the top of the pitman. If you have an early 66 we recommend you change the drag link to the newer version and use the late 66-75 pitman arm.
