Synchronizing Wiper Switch w/ Intermittent Delay

Many Early Bronco owners have upgraded from vacuum to electric wipers using the popular dual motor setup. While this upgrade gives you a more reliable system, it can leave you with one annoying issue: unsynchronized wiper motors. The result? A distracting and uneven wipe that can drive you nuts!

We’ve got the solution. Whether you've already made the switch or are planning to, our Synchronizing Wiper Switch with Intermittent Delay is the perfect upgrade to get those motors working together.

  • Synchronizes 2-speed electric wiper motors

  • Adds 3 intermittent delay speeds

  • High and low wiper settings

  • Integrated push-button washer switch

  • Easy up-and-down arrows for speed control

  • Clear, easy-to-follow instructions included

This switch not only syncs your 2-speed motors but also adds three intermittent delay speeds, plus high and low settings for ultimate control. It even features a built-in washer switch and easy-to-use up-and-down arrows for adjusting speed.

Installation is simple. All you need is a 1 1/2" x 7/8" rectangular mounting hole, and we provide clear instructions. You just handle the wiring, and you're set.

Upgrade your wiper system and tackle those rainy drives with confidence!

Asked by Gary, March 26, 2022

Q: Are there any other options for a syncro switch? I hate to put a hole in my new dash.

1 Answer

Answered by sales - March 28, 2022

A: No other options we have seen. Some will put the rectangle switch in a center console, or under the dash in a switch panel or cubby.

Asked by Damon, September 4, 2015

Q: Sorry what i was trying to ask is:
Can this unit be used on a Bronco that has the electric 1 wiper motor and the OE 2 speed switch. Since it says the #5301 has HI, LOW plus 3 intermittents if we replace the 2 speed OE switch with the #5301, would it be giving more variation to that Bronco or is it just made for the Bronco owners who have switched from vacuum to electric wipers.

1 Answer

Answered by sales - September 8, 2015

A: You should be able to use it with one motor, but may be more trouble than it is worth. The functions are: Both motors on, right wiper on only, left wiper on only, and both wipers off. Then you have fast, slow , and 2, 4, and 8 second delay intermittent.

Asked by Damon, September 1, 2015

Q: Can this unit be used with a Bronco that has a single electric wiper motor, to increase speeds.

1 Answer

Answered by sales - September 1, 2015

A: The switch will not make the motor run any faster. You will likely want to find a replacement motor capable of a higher RPM.

I messed up when I built my roll cage so the stock wiper assembly would no longer fit. I ordered the individual wiper motor kit and installed it with the stock switch. The wipers worked but they would not run synchronized. Both wipers going at a different pace will drive one crazy. It took a few hours to install the syncronizing switch and it was worth the effort. The switch adds all,the modern amenities to an old ride. Too cool.
