This Rear Drum Brake 10" x 2 1/2" Complete Kit was complete and correct. At first I thought that the wheel cylinders were incorrect because the cast body of my old cylinders were larger than the new ones which I reasoned the bore size would be smaller than my old cylinders. After I took apart one of my old cylinders I found that the were in fact the same bore size (13/16").

I was a bit disappointed in this front 11" x 1.75" kit. The upper springs in the kit were not correct. Four identical upper springs were in the kit but were not for the Bronco. The Bronco requires two short heavy springs and two longer lighter tension springs one for each side. I reused my old springs. The bottom springs were correct and I used the new ones. The hole in the brake shoe that retains the self adjuster cable guide was too close to the shoe backing plate so that the cable was pinched between the backing plate and the cable guide. I had to elongate the hole toward the inside of the brake assembly so that there would be enough clearance for the cable to move when required. It was not clear which of the shoes were to be installed on the front and which were to be installed on the rear of the backing plate because the shoe lengths were the same. Typically the shorter length shoe is to go to the front and the longer is to go to the rear. A slight difference in the thickness (thinner) and the material of one pair of shoes indicated to me that they were probably intended for the front of the backing Plate.

Very happy with the brake overhaul kit. The emergency brake return springs did not work on my Bronco so I just used my original ones. It's nice to be able to get everything in one box shipped right to me! The only thing to consider is that the parts have the made in China stamp on them.

This is a great kit. High quality. Here is something I wish was included in the description, just as a helpful hint. A bullet point short list would be great. There are things that you must hold on to from your brakes that you are rebuilding, that are not included in this kit. 1. The wheel cylinder pins. 2. The parking brake link spring ( this spring is NOT included in the spring kit ). 3. The parking brake link bar. 4. The parking brake lever. 5. The bolts for mounting the cylinders.

It was nice to place one order and have all the items sent to you. No need to go down a list of parts to order to do a rebuild of the rear brakes. Equipment arrived in one day and looked top quality. It nice getting from a company the knows the Classic Bronco
