Q: Would these be able to bend around rollbard curves or only straight application. Specifically I have a rear tube that covers my rear passengers head. It goes straight across the back but bends in on each side towards the outer cage supports.

A: These really work best on straight runs of tube. If it is a slight bend, then it may be ok, but definitely not hard bends or corners.

Q: Have an '81 CJ5 with a custom roll cage. Diameter is 2.25. Do you make covers for this diameter?

A: 2 1/4 should be no problem. Just specify when you order. Straight lengths are best, with no corners or bends.

Q: Hi there. I have a 1976 cj5 and wanted to get a cover for the top of roll bar. My measurements show 38 long would work. Wondering if with all your experience you have a recommend length that would be considered an ideal fit?

A: These cover straight tubes well, no bends. If 38 is straight, or mostly straight tube, order 38 length. If you try to cover or go around a bend, the material and pad bunches.

Well, I had no intentions of installing roll cage head banger pads on my cage until the first time my girl hit her head TWICE, in the same day on the grab roll bar. I quickly realized im going to prison if someone gets the wrong impression from her two forehead lumps and calls the cops. Through extensive research I discovered "Wild Horses" makes them professionally to size in multiple colors. I ordered (7) silver carbon fiber color and all I can say is "WOW" they are absolutely top notch quality, the best all around pads and zipper covers. I own a Manx style classic fiberglass dune buggy and I needed a pad to install on the roll bar to help protect backseat riders from hitting their head during sudden stops. Wild horses was the perfect answer. The pad fits perfect and looks great. The only improvement the product could use and it is minor is with the zipper pull if only they could come up with a way to have it securely lay flat instead of hanging loose.

My 1980 CJ7 came with a custom front end roll cage that is within forehead-reach. I needed something soft but also attractive, especially since the seats are nutmeg color. I didn't like the look of the standard roll bar covers online and they wouldn't have fit anyway since the roll bar is 2" instead of the standard 2 1/4". After I ordered 3 custom pads (1 front and 2 sides), Wild Horses called me to confirm the color and dimensions. Not only were they a breeze to zip on, but they compliment the jeep interior perfectly and they've been getting a lot of comments from passerbys! Even if my roll cage was standard, I don't think I'd go with anything but these! Highly recommend.

I bought a replacement roll bar from Poising Spyder and there are no roll bar protectors for it. So I found this website by searching and at first ordered one pair to see how it worked. They look great. These are high quality and easy to install. I have since ordered more to complete the set and wrap the rest of the the critical points where I think people might hit their heads. They're roll bar covers. And they're expensive. But they are custom made, and they look absolutely killer on my rig (made the old previous foam noodle-covers and zip ties look laughable). If you've got a halfway decent looking rig, then spend your hard-earned coin and get yourself some of these! Great guys to work with, and the quality of the finished product is second to none.

I bought these for my Jeep YJ that has the sport bar with family bars welded on. The usual roll bar pads don't fit, and they have poor padding and look flat. I only wish that WH could have made curved pads to fit on my curved bars. Other companies make the curved pads for my Jeep, but they use velcro instead of the zippers. Zippers look better.

I bought padding for an aftermarket roll cage for my 2007 JK. The quality was great and the color, parchment, was almost an exact match to the stock color. I would recommend the padding and Wild Horse 4x4 to anyone!
