This custom pilot bearing is for adapting some Ford 302 / 5.0L / 351W engines to transmissions with a .750" pilot tip. The bearing is supplied in several Advance Adapter kits including the Ford to NV4500, NV3550 and AX15 transmissions. This pilot bearing is commonly offered in AA kits where an adapter plate is used in conjunction with a factory Ford bellhousing. This AA 716122 pilot bearing is frequently sought after for conversions where the AA shorter 716169 lacks the needed extended length.

A: The pilot bearing bushing is included in both the 7199 and 7207 NV3550 kits.

A: To our knowledge, the ZF uses the same pilot bearing/bushing as the stock 3 speed, like #8103.
