The antenna is a perfect fit for the original antenna. The antenna, though, slips down and doesn't stay fully extended so they may impact the radio reception. We didn't check before installing so make sure you do before installing just in case you need an exchange. Antenna is super long at full extension so maybe it's better at half mast and won't get ripped off??!!
