Q: How do these work with the headlight knob/shaft? Is the stock knob removable? Or is there a separate black dash knob that is integrated with the stock headlight switch shaft configuration?

A: Normally the old knob can be broken or removed from the original shaft. Then, one of these knobs can go in its place, and fasten with a set screw.
