Thanks

Q: I bought the WH 1.5 suspension lift kit. I was thinking about drilling a 7/16 hole 1 to 3/4 forward of the original hole to center the 32 to 33 tires I plan on using to center the wheel of the uncut quarter panels. 1 - do I need new perches? 2 - if so what adjustments need to be made when installing them to adjust for the 1.5 lift?
Answered by ☆ sales - May 26, 2022
A: New longer perches would be beneficial, just to give you more landing room for the new position of the spring. You will also want to match the hole in the top plate, so the u-bolts continue to line up straight with the axle.

Q: What is the purpose of the three prongs on each side of the arch? Should it be welded at that height?
Answered by ☆ 8578 - November 6, 2013
A: The prongs make it easy to fit slightly larger tube sizes. You can leave them in place or take them off whatever fits best for your particular application.

Q: What is the difference between this product and the 8672? Can this be used in a 1977 Bronco 9 rear diff?
Answered by ☆ WH tech - March 11, 2013
A: Yes is can be used in a 77 Bronco. The difference is the 8672 is basically a stock replacement spring perch. The 8674 has the anti wrap feature built in by it's length.
