Q: What gauge is the metal? Is the cover painted, or primed. What are the dimensions of the shifter hole? Thanks

A: The cover measures .080 thick, roughly 14 Gauge. The cover does come painted black. The shifter hole measures 3 wide by 3 7/8 front to back.
