Early Bronco Brake Light Switch on Pedal (1967-77)

Keep your classic Bronco safe and street-legal with this Early Bronco Brake Light Switch. Designed to connect directly to the brake pedal push rod, this switch activates your rear brake lights the moment you hit the brakes—giving other drivers the heads-up they need. This switch was stock on all 1967-77 Ford Broncos, ensuring an authentic fit and reliable performance.

  • Direct fit for 1967-77 Ford Broncos

  • Activates brake lights when brakes are engaged

  • Replaces worn or malfunctioning switches

  • Easy installation on the brake pedal push rod

  • Not compatible with 1966 Broncos (used hydraulic switch)

If you’ve got a 1966 Ford Bronco, note that your rig used a hydraulic brake light switch that connects to the master cylinder, so this won't be compatible. For everyone else, it's the perfect OE replacement to keep your Bronco shining bright when it matters most!

I was in the process of replacing my C4 with a NV3550 transmission. I had to come up with all the manual shift pedals and linkage. What an opportunity to make it like new! I replaced all the brake bushings and the brake light switch. The old switch was 34 years old and had 270K miles. This replacement switch looks exactly like the old one and works perfectly without any sort of adjustment.
