Why don't these fit a Ford F-250 or F-350?
Ford’s F-250 and F-350 trucks of this era ran a completely different front suspension design from their lighter-duty cousins. Instead of the coil-spring, radius-arm setup found on Broncos and many F-100/F-150 models—which relies on a track bar to keep the axle centered—the heavy-duty trucks used a front leaf-spring, solid-axle suspension. The leaf packs themselves locked the axle in place laterally, making a track bar unnecessary and eliminating any bushings or hardware associated with it. This design was chosen for its durability under heavy loads and rugged work conditions, even though it sacrifices some of the ride comfort of a coil-spring system.
