6-Bolt | GM Style Front Disc Conversion
This 6-Bolt Spindle is designed specifically for early Ford Broncos equipped with a GM-style front disc brake conversion. Compatible with 1966–71.5 Dana 30 axles and 1971.5–75 Dana 44 axles, this spindle includes pre-installed spindle bearings and features the classic 6-bolt pattern found on many 60s–70s applications. It is not compatible with factory Ford front disc brake setups, which use a different spindle (5-bolt, #8913). These need to be taken to a machine shop and bored a little bit bigger if you plan on upgrading to rcv axles in the future
Note From WILD HORSES: Wild Horses does not recommend using RCVs with any of the smaller 6 bolt spindles. We understand it can be done but prefer using RCVs with the larger hole 76-79 style knuckles/Spindles.
