Center emergency brake cable with threaded end. This is a direct replacement for the factory parking brake cable on a 1977 Ford Bronco. We have seen this cable installed in earlier model Broncos as well, eliminating the frame-mounted pivot bracket assembly. If you are unsure which cable type you need, look under the body of your early Bronco where the front center emergency brake cable connects to the rear left and right e-brake cables. On this cable, the threaded adjustment is attached to the cable itself. In early models, there is a separate adjusting rod that connects between the three cables.
