Assembled Extreme Duty Output System for use with Dana 20 With Speedometer Parts


Our completely assembled ready to bolt in Extreme duty Dana 20 output system makes replacing your 20's old output shaft a breeze. This unit is roughly 1.3" longer than the stock output so it is possible that the rear driveshaft will need to be shortened.

This kit includes the speedometer gear, housing, and cable.

The only weak part in the Dana 20 is it's output shaft...as I found out 1st hand. The stock unit that was in my transfer case had it's splines twisted almost .25"! It was very near the point of snapping. Since this Dana 20 was to be married to a ZF 5 speed & lower gears. I wasn't taking any chances. The W.H. Kit was the wise choice for me. The unit was painless to install. The gear set for speedo is a major plus since Im running 35"s... My rig is closer to being bullet proof with larger out put shaft & since my pony hits the trails off of the pavement vs mall cruise'n ... Paying the asking price now compared to paying the price after releasing the clutch at 3000+ rpms while attempting to assend a rock strewn pass, with onlookers consisting of Jeeps, Chevys & your next ex girlfriend... Whoa dude - You wanna risk breaking anything at that moment in time?!? Me neither! Pay $99 for a stock replacement or pony up the funds and cry once... Bigger is Better... Happy Wheel'n & play in the dirt.
