76-77 Drop Pitman Arm

76-77 Drop Pitman Arm
WILD HORSES can't leave well enough alone. After years of custom steering work and filing more pitman arm key ways than you can shake a stick at, we decided to develop our own fully indexed pitman arms. Most pitman arms can only be installed in one spot on the steering box sector shaft. Our pitman arm can be installed at 10 degree increments without modification which will help in centering your steering right to left. We recommend Drop Pitman Arms on Broncos with 3'' of lift or more. Why? Because they allow the drag link to operate at the angle they were designed for, saving wear and tear on the ball joints.

NOTE: You do not need a drop pitman arm with the F-100 steering conversion.

# 1286W dropped pitman arm 76/77 - By: blubuckaroo

I drove my Bronco for years after installing a 2" lift and had a little liveable bump steer. After replacing the auto with a manual transmission, I noticed the bump steer when the nose dived between shifts. Not something you want happening with one hand on the shifter! This dropped pitman arm eliminated that issue. Thanks again WH!
