Fun Fact: The 1966 Bronco “Eyebrow” Grille

The original 1966 Bronco grille earned the nickname “Eyebrow Grille" thanks to a pair of subtle dimples stamped just above each headlight opening. These small protrusions resembled eyebrows, giving the front end a unique and slightly expressive appearance. Interestingly, this feature was exclusive to the 1966 model year. Because the eyebrow grille was used for only one year and never reproduced, original pieces are now rare and highly sought after by collectors and purists. While modern replacement grilles for 1966–68 Broncos fit perfectly and include the iconic F O R D stamping, they do not feature the eyebrow dimples—making original 1966 versions a true piece of Bronco history.
