The part fits and is straight forward to connect. I'd give it 3 stars for 2 reasons. #1) one of the screws that mount this latch to the inside of door is too long. Even with a proper lock washer it protrudes into the locking mechanism and it can make contact with the latch mechanism. The symptom you will notice is that once the door is locked, it cannot be unlocked.. the screw makes contact with the locking mechanism and prevents the spring loaded mechanism from moving up and you are stuck. only solution is to disassemble the door panel from the inside (if you can figure out how to get in) and reach in there and free the locking mechanism by hand. The fix is to take the bottom screw for this latch on the inside of the door jam and grind 3 to 5 mm off of it and make sure it doesn't make contact with that latch. #2) There is a raised piece of metal on the back of this latch (its like a rivet or burr) that can make contact with the unlocking/locking lever arm that passes in front of this raised rivet/burr like spot. You can see that it comes close if you move the door lock lever up and down you'll see this bar nearly makes contact with this rivet face.. in my case it actually did make contact intermittently and again it can lead to the lock not releasing and lock you out of the vehicle. the solution for this was to use a Dremel and grind down that burr and make sure it can't make contact with that locking/unlocking lever arm.. -- All in all, this job should have taken maybe an 1hr and it ended up being 3 weeks of trouble shooting with 4 separate occasions being locked out of the car from the drivers side with multiple assembly and disassembly steps.
Note From WILD HORSES: Mike, sorry for the issue. We do not normally have this problem on this part. We have checked stock and what we have in the warehouse appears correct.

Latch fits well but I had to open up one of the rod/lever holes. Has a different sound than oem but is working fine. Love me some Wild horses.
