Dana 44 Differential Rebuild Kit
Includes differential and pinion bearings and races, seal, gasket, shims, gear marking compound and ring gear bolts. This is a master kit - not to be confused with install kits that leave out the differential bearings and some of the other parts.

If you are wanting to rebuild the entire front end you will need additional parts such as wheel bearings, ball joints, axle seals etc.

It may be obvious to some, but this kit is only for the differential, not then entire axle. Keep searching if you're doing a complete rebuild. The good folks at Wild Horses should mention that on their site instead of saying that this is the Master Kit that contains everything you need... Docking stars for ### Industry wide this kit is called a "master kit". It is what it's called a master kit for the Dana 44 differential. The kit components are all listed as well as an accurate photo of the product. That being said we don't like misunderstandings especially if they result in a customer not being happy with their purchase. We have now added additional info to help spell out what the product is and is not in the hopes that it will clarify for any future purchasers. We appreciate the feedback and use it to make the site better. Thanks for your input.

I haven't installed it yet but the bearings are very high quality as are the other parts included

The off-road shop that installed my Detroit Locker/Ring & Pinion said that this was the best rebuild kit they'd ever seen. Came with everything to do the job right.
