I have used the Rancho 9000 series shock absorbers since they first came out. The ability to adjust the ride characteristics with just a simple twist of a dial was what first appealed to me. I prefer to run the firmest setting when rock crawling, especially on the front, to add a firmness and control to the ride, Others run the softer setting for a looser feel and softer ride.
