These are our premium driveshafts. We use only domestically supplied D.O.M. tubing and full length splines. Compared to others, this provides far more spline surface contact which makes these parts last longer. These work better with our long travel suspensions because the driveshaft is able to travel in and out of the slip yoke farther. The tubing is smaller in diameter and has a thicker wall. This gives added clearance when you are in the rocks. They come assembled with U-joints and constant velocity joint. They are balanced and ready to install. Please provide working measurement for best fit.
How do our Extreme Duty driveshafts compare to common OE and imported shafts?
*Our 1310 series u-joints have the grease fitting in the bearing cap for easy servicing, most other do not. They also carry the best manufacturer's warranty in the business. If you ever break/fracture a universal joint (as opposed to failing from lack of maintenance or failures caused by connecting to damaged attaching yokes) your drive shaft would be repaired or replaced at no charge to you. This is a manufacturer's warranty and not a sellers warranty.
*Our custom forged slip yokes are about twice as strong as OE. We use a solid plug for keeping contaminates out and for correct grease flow.
*Our splined shafts have forged steel splines with a wear resistant coating. The full length splines have twice the contact area with the slip yoke for added life span.
*We only use DOM tube which nearly doubles the yield and tensile strength when compared to CREW (cold rolled electric welded) tube.
*All CV components are manufactured by Spicer, Neapco or one of their affiliated companies and selected for the greatest flexibility in the drive shaft without compromising strength.
Also included with every drive shaft purchase is the service tool for greasing the center pivot point of the CV assembly.
