Air Inlet Duct

Great replacement for the old original worn out inlet duct. Great upgrade.

All start by saying the parts are well made. Unfortunately where it connects to the kick panel does not match up correctly. The flexible duct is the same size as the hole on the kick panel. I tried to stretch the flexible duct to fit over the lip on the kick panel but the duct work material just started to rip between the wire. It unfortunately had to become a return item.

I've not installed part yet, but I can tell by looking and feeling part that is made to last.

looks good quality and easy install and fit. Came with screw clamps; the original has built in clamping like the defrost hoses. But still ok.

My original duct was surprisingly intact along the length, but the clamp on the kickpanel was gone. This little guy was a great replacement. It's a pain to get the old one off (especially the rear screws), but once it is off, the 2-piece construction of this one makes for an easier installation. I thought I could get away without loosening the entire heater box, but no, you need that clearance in the back to reach all the screws. It's also a little bit of a fight to get the hose on (be careful of the wire coil), but once it is on, it is nice and tight.

Very easy to install and was the last step to get some heat blowing in my 77.

I went to many parts store that said they did not carry them. After receiving them from WH I notice they matched the original ones perfectly. I was very impressed with the quality. Easy to install.

A must for replacement of the old air duct, another top shelf product from WH.

The flexible duct is very sturdy and the metal base that attaches to the heating box is heavy duty. Stainless clamps were a nice addition.
