A fan shroud is a must when you are using a mechanical fan if you expect to keep your Bronco cool on the trail. Without a fan shroud, the fan pulls air around the radiator instead of through it.

Aluminum Radiator Fan Shroud

I just got back from the Hot August Nights event in Reno NV. Cruising at very slow speeds in triple digit temps got the old Bronco running on the hot side. So, when I got home I ordered the aluminum full circle shroud from Wild Horses. Perfect fit and I can tell this will do the trick, the air flow through the radiator has dramatically improved! Easy install but note, you will need to remove the radiator to install this shroud. Complete job took less than an hour.
