3.5" System 12 Suspension with WILD HORSES Shock Absorbers
The System 12 was inspired by a desire to run hard core rock crawling trails and still drive home on the freeway. This long travel suspension makes the trails more fun by keeping your tires on the ground so that you maintain traction. Its a great all terrain system and you don't need to own a trailer.
OK, so you don't want to leave any stone unturned in your suspension build up. This suspension is a must for any serious rock crawler. The beautiful thing is you will still be able to cruise 70 MPH down the freeway. (Providing your gearing will allow it). This is an extremely well balanced suspension. The trail handling characteristics are awesome.
The System 12 includes everything in the System 10 plus our Extreme Radius Arms and the new Radius Arm Mounting Brackets. Don't sacrifice street or trail handling. Go with a system 12.
The System 12 is pictured with the optional Extreme Duty U-Bolt Kit instead of the stock diameter U-Bolt Kit.
WE RECOMMEND upgrading the stock diameter U-bolt kit included in this system to our Extreme Duty U-Bolt Kit for only $40.
The force and stress placed on stock components by off-roading is enormous. We noticed that we were bending the stock u-bolt plates so we set out to build some that could take abuse. We also noticed the stock 1/2" u-bolts are pretty weak. It may seem kind of simple to take a piece of thick metal and drill some holes. We have seen those types of plates. The problem is the edge of a plate like this causes a ridged pressure point and can cause the spring to break at that point. We invested in tooling that routers the edge of our plates. In doing so we are able to keep a stock type edge which compliments the spring when it's articulating.
These are a must have for trail runners and rock crawlers. Keep your rear axle and springs mounted solid!
