NP205 Twin Stick Transfer Case Shifter w/Boot, 78-79 Bronco SKU: 798555

Once installed and linkage adjusted I'm very happy with the product. It took a little more finesse than I was expecting, had to cut about 3/4" off the all thread to get it all lined up, but once installed I'm very happy. Took me about 4 hours, but I installed with the transfer in the vehicle didn't drop the front drive line or anything. Its a tight fit but if you go in the right order it slips in there nicely. All in all I'm very happy with the install. Great product.

First, you would think spending a hundred and seventy dollars to get this product to your front door, that it would actually fit. The boot slides on the shifters but the mounting plate is no where near fitting any ford I have. the linkage? prepare to bolt up, measure, in bolt, cut and reassemble. you would think if its advertised for a 78 bronco it would bolt up and fit without having to customize the linkage. NO DICE with this kit, prepare to spend 4 hours or so to customize this kit to work with a 78 bronco. Obviously the makers of this kit never tried to install one on a 78 bronco. Expected ALLOT BETTER fit for the money.

If I would have known it was that easy to twin stick a 205 I would have done it years ago.the instructions were easy to read an entire process only took about 3 hours start to finish.
