My order came with no spacers included....Bummer. Once I got the spacers installed, there's 3/16 slop back and forth where the cable head attaches. My cable also didn't go flush with insert as shown in the PDF instructions included. It's more rattly than the stock arm! Matt @ WH explained its normal to have the big gap and the cable needs to swivel. A simple upgrade that's poorly designed. Like others have mentioned, you shouldn't need to modify something new to make it work.

Installation took about 20 minutes due to some issues with latch posts no lining up and complicating the install. Once on, the cables are quiet - no rattles from the tailgate anymore!

Cable installation was quick and easy. They operate much quieter than the original design. The cabels do not hinder the closing of the tail gate.

The cables are great, but they need stackable spacer and shorter bolts so that the tailgate can shut. That is why it only gets three stars Thanks Phil
Note From WILD HORSES: We are not sure what happened in this case. This kit normally goes in perfect and does the job without any problems.

Very happy with the product. Very well made. Little tricky getting the allen bolt through the tailgate catch but overall the install was simple and the instructions were straight forward.
