We named our new 23 gallon fuel tank "The Sherman Tank" because it's built like one. This one includes an EFI Pump Kit already mounted inside the tank.
These new Sherman Tanks are a complete departure from the traditional strap mount style EB fuel tanks. We use a track mounting system which eliminates the strap and j-bolts and that means you won't have to worry about leaving your tank in the middle of the trail when you drag it over a big rock pile. Another great thing about the track mounting is the ability to adjust the tank up and down in the frame. So if you add a body lift you can move the tank up to gain ground clearance. With the track mounting system you will not have to position the tank against the bottom of the Bronco floor. This will keep the bed of your Bronco looking good.
This Sherman Tank is set up with a high pressure in tank pump for fuel injected motors. The large top opening in the tank allows easy access for in-tank pump. The tank design has a sump area for mounting the pump and filter which keeps the pump submerged in fuel. This extends the life of the pump and solves fuel starvation problem in hill climb situations.
Welded AN-6 fittings for the fuel pickup and return provide a positive connection to the tank. The filler opening is 1 3/4" with a standard 5/8" vent and fuel vapor port as well for those who have to pass emission equipment inspections.
Unlike other tank "kits" on the market the Sherman Tank comes ready to install. The sending units are tested before we install them into the tanks and after we install them this way we know they are functioning properly when we send them.

Sherman Tank Please!

After shopping around I decided on the Sherman Tank and boy am I glad. This thing is tough as rocks, fits like a glove, and only took me about a half hour to mount. Looks good and has a ton of clearance with my body lift.
