4.5 Flip Brackets - By: BigWheelz

Nice Parts! VERY WELL MADE Install is a bit of a PITA, requires grinding of the rivets from the OEM brackets. Not hard, just time consuming. A Matabo grinder makes quick work of it if one is available. Getting the pinion angle right is a bear. My '78 bronco required a six degree pinion wedge in place of the OEM wedge to get the pinion angle right. Other Broncos may be different, this is just my experience.

Nice brackets - By: Cheap fun

I'm building a 1980 Bronco & I got my brackets in the mail today. I was very impressed with the welds & the overall construction. The plates are very thick & you can clearly see the weld penetration on the back side. They are very heavy. I understood the shipping charge when I picked up the box. I can't wait to get started on the install. I got the link from FSB.com. The hardware included is a little light weight (grade 5) so I'll be using grade 8. It'll probably work but, my truck is going to see a lot of hard wheeling. Should be a lot of fun. Check out my threads on FullSizeBronco.com. Thanks Wild Horses, Cheap Fun

Awesome brackets, awesome welds, these things are rock solid. An impact hammer makes quick work of the rivets on the factory bracket. My only complaint is that I had to take out the 3rd bolts and grind down my bumper brackets on my stock 79 bronco bumper which really sucked. A solid 3/4" of metal needed to be removed. Kind of disappointing, but other than that, the build quality is awesome.
