This cable is extended as compared to the original early Bronco parking brake cable to accommodate stock height Broncos as well as classic Broncos with suspension lifts up to 5.5 inches. Stock emergency brake cables can stop suspension travel, even on Broncos with small lifts. As the suspension moves the cable can become like a limiting strap.
