We tried the others and came to the conclusion that the Art Carr shifters are the most durable and dependable A/T shifters we have ever used. In our opinion, there simply is nothing better. Get stuck on a rocky hill where you need to get the transmission back in reverse with some of the lever lockout type shifters and you will see why you need the Art Carr shifter. The same shifter can be used in standard pattern P R N 3 2 1 or competition pattern P R N 1 2 3.

The shifter comes with the shifter housing. Many people choose to do custom installs and make their own covers or mount the shifter in a custom tunnel.
