Stock Ignition Switch Version Centech Wiring Harness
This version of the Centech harness comes pre-wired for the stock ignition switch. There is no need for additional parts in order to use your stock switch.
Our harness uses wires that are labeled and able to withstand up to 275 degree heat. We have eliminated all of the areas which are prone to electrical failure. Our fuse box holds 11 fuses instead of the original 5, and it still fits right in the glove box. The kit includes a new Ford headlamp switch, dimmer switch and wiper switch. You can use your existing ignition switch with this kit but we recommend purchasing a new one (part #6301). Extra long wires are provided to allow you to use modified electrical equipment such as an automatic transmission with a floor mounted shifter containing the neutral safety and backup lamp switches.
The engine section of the harness contains special waterproof connectors which seal each wire against oil, gasoline and other liquids. These wires supply power to your stock or aftermarket ignition system. A special harness is included to wire the charging system with a late model external regulator.
The rear harness plugs into a sealed connector located in the engine compartment. It wires the tail, side, backup and stop lamps. The rear harness also includes the fuel sender wires.
Our kits are pre-wired, taped and most terminals are connected. Our kit comes with an illustrated installation manual. Headlight spacer not included - must use original spacer.
