Item #: 8086 The Pertronix II Performance Kit includes an Ignitor, Flame-Thrower II Coil and Flame-Thrower Wires. It comes with either the 45,000 or the 60,000 Volt Coil. 
Both offer these benefits.
45,000 Volt Coil The Flame-Thrower II coil provides high performance by cranking it up a notch to 45,000 volts. 60,000 Volt Coil  Our new HV (high voltage) E-Core design yields an incredible 60,000 volts and operates with no degradation throughout temperature ranges that surpass military specifications. The special heat sink design made from aircraft 6063 T5 aluminum efficiently transfers heat optimizing energy output for street/strip and off road applications. The housing is black anodized for increased corrosion resistance. Coils are vacuum potted resulting in better reliability and longer life. Brass primary terminals provide greater current conductivity and allow direct mounting without special connectors or harnesses. Standard thread connections and mounting hardware is provided with each coil. The high tension male terminal is precision machined to ensure a snug fit for the coil wire. Pertronix Billet Distributor | |
|
Item #: 6103W Designed to provide maximum ignition performance and easy installation at a price you can afford. Now you can upgrade your outdated points or stock electronic distributor with a performance-proven distributor that features the patented Ignitor 2 electronic ignition module and a CNC machined 6061 T-6 polished billet housing and deck. The Ignitor 2 module uses Hall Effect integrated circuits triggered by samarium cobalt magnets, located in a magnet sleeve, mounted on the distributor shaft. A powerful micro controller with adaptive dwell algorithms allow the Ignitor 2 module to adjust dwell angle to maintain peak energy throughout the entire RPM range, increasing both high and low RPM performance. By adjusting spark timing over the entire RPM range, our module compensates for inherent electronic delay resulting in more stable timing. Ignition energy is also sustained with less heat buildup in the coil and module because peak current level is reached just prior to spark. Our Ignitor 2 electronics are compatible with any inductive ignition system coil, but high RPM performance can be improved when used with our low resistance (0.6 ohm) Flame Thrower 2 coil.
